The American Trakehner Association is proud to partner with Iconeq, an exciting, growing, sport horse platform whose mission is to revolutionize the sport horse industry through a frictionless experience, a vibrant, supportive community, and cutting-edge technology. Iconeq is also dedicated to providing an online location where horses registered with a World Breeding Federation for Sport Horse (WBFSH)-affiliated entity can be marketed free of charge.
**ATTENTION** It is important to note that individuals entering horses on the Iconeq site currently self-identify the breed and that can lead to inaccuracies and/or promotion of horses not affiliated with the ATA or the Trakehner Verband. One of our collaboration efforts with ICONEQ is to develop a way for the ATA office to identify and subsequently verify properly registered ATA and/or Trakehner Verband horses on the Iconeq website. That project, however, will take some time to implement. As a result, the ATA recommends that before purchasing any horse listed as a Trakehner, the potential buyer contact the ATA’s office if they have any questions regarding the registration status, or ability to register the horse or service being sold. That verification will help ensure you are purchasing a horse properly affiliated with a WBFSH entity.
