Pedigree:
Virginian Sky has won at 4th level dressage (70%) earning his performance Bronze and successfully competed through preliminary level eventing, indicating great versatility as a sport horse. His first offspring so far show incredible athleticism, wonderful work ethics and seem to enjoy human companionship quite a bit. Sky comes from impeccable European performance bloodlines. Sire Best Before Midnight was first developed as a show jumper, but then made a career switch to dressage and today has a performance record at FEI level (up to Inter I). BBM is a horse with versatile talent, and he reproduces that very consistently in his offspring. Sir Shostakovich xx founded a highly performance proven stallion line. Among his many offspring are the Olympic eventer Boettchers Longchamps, the Rolex Kentucky placed Lester Piggott and the premium stallion Chateauneuf (S level show jumping, M level dressage), the approved international show jumper Donaumonarch, the approved S level show jumper Couleur-Fuerst, as well as a several second and third generation show jumpers at international 1.50 & 1.60m levels. BBMs dam sire Bajar ShA produced offspring competing internationally in show jumping (e.g. Bachus/Holst.) and eventing (e.g. White Girl TSF) – up to Olympic level. It is especially in combination with BBMs direct mare line (Bergfriede) that the Bajar ShA-blood was most successful, e.g. in the international eventer Boo Bandit. Dam Virginian Girl xx raced for 7 seasons and was a Champion steeplechaser. The tail family of Virginian Sky also stands for the outstanding major sires Norther Dancer xx, Secretariat xx, Charlottown xx, Ballymoss xx, Hurry On xx, Precipitation xx, and Sir Gaylord xx. The family also produced the FEI show jumpers Belle Doudou, Lolipop, Tinapaei xx, and Caratella as well as Hunter/Jumper Un Beerenauslese. This is the same tail family as ATA approved stallion Sea Lion xx (FEI eventer). Virginian Sky has been competing at PSG since 2019, and is currently working towards earning his Performance Silver. Virginian Sky is approved with the ATA and ZSAA.
