Glücksruf was approved in NMS in 2011 by the Trakehner Verband and was recognized as the best jumper. During his sport career, Glücksruf competed successfully with top event rider Kai-Steffen Meier through the CCI4* level with many top placings including 3rd at the CCI4*-S at Sopot and completing the CCI4*-L at Boekelo. Additionally, Glücksruf has competed in show jumping through 1.25 m and has demonstrated the ability to negotiate courses through 1.50 m. Glücksruf has shown to be very sound, willing to learn and work, and with a gentle and kind personality.
Glücksruf’s breeding career as a stallion has shown great success. His foals are like him in talent, movement superiority, and temperament. He has produced many top mares including Kira-Ora who was Champion mare at her inspection along with Tetris who was Champion mare in jumping in her inspection. At the annual select foal auction in 2021 at the Budesturnier, Glücksruf’s granddaughter Kinshasa stole the show selling for a 85,000 Euros – the highest price ever paid for a Trakehner suckling. In 2023, Kinshasa’s three-year-old sister Kalahari sold at auction at NMS for 60,000 Euros – the second highest price of all mares offered.
