We are saddened to share with you of the passing of our friend and lifetime ATA member, Anissa Cottongim.
In her memory, and to honor her legacy, her family and the ATA are joining to create “Anissa’s Fund,” which will contribute directly to the ATA’s Special Board of Directors Award. This $10,000 award is designated for the owner of any ATA-registered Trakehner foaled in North America that represents the USA or Canada on an Olympic or World Championship team that competes in dressage, combined training, or jumping. If the horse was also bred in North America, the Board will award an additional $1,000 to the breeder of the horse.
It is the wish of her family that contributions be made to this fund in her name. Please direct all questions to the ATA office at (386) 776-1269 or [email protected].
