Description: Rusticus received the “Best Anglo Trakehner” prize at his licensing in Neumünster and was one of only nine to be approved out of a large group of 48 stallions. Rusticus had a successful career as a young event horse prior to switching to a career in show jumping. He is now competing successfully through 1.30m with his amateur owner. His offspring are starting their careers now, many with Boyd Martin. Rusticus is by the great international Grand Prix & Nations Cup show jumper Favoritas xx. The sire’s family lines have been represented at the Olympic and WEG level in several disciplines and produced E.H. Grafenstolz TSF, as well as the International GP dressage stallions Kaiserkult TSF and Kaiserdom TSF. Dam, Rispe IV, has produced numerous upper level sport horses including FEI GP dressage horse Rudy’s Memory TSF. Rusticus’ damsire is the Elite stallion Bartholdy who has produced multiple offspring through the CCI4* level in eventing and CDI2* level in dressage. Bartholdy has produced several approved sons including the Elite stallion Maizauber and Finley M, who has produced CCI5* eventer First Flight’s Beauty. Top eventing mares On Cue and Kyra were bred to him, speaking to his quality. Rusticus foals are now competing in eventing at the Preliminary and CCI2* level.
