Der Dante is a stunning homozygous black stallion imported from Germany. He qualified for the Bundeschampionate for the German Eventing Horse and was recognized for not only his fantastic jump, but also for his movement and temperament. Winning young horse classes in France, Dante then proceeded to qualify for the 6-year-old World Championships at Le Lion as well as the 7-year-old World Championships the following year. Dante was approved by the Trakehner Verband and passed the 30-day testing with highest marks in all phases. He accumulated 11 wins at the CCI-2* and CCI-3* under renowned eventer Michael Jung. Dante then went on to compete with an amateur at the national levels in Europe, showcasing his talents in eventing as well as pure dressage and show jumping. Now in the US, Dante will continue his eventing career with amateur owner. This stallion is by the influential American-bred Thoroughbred stallion Stravinsky, who had a successful racing career across several countries and competed in pure dressage through Intermediare-2. Stravinsky has multiple approved sons across several registries. This stallion has high-performance bloodlines, with his dam producing several successful offspring, including two high-performance show jumpers, one of which is another approved stallion. His dam, Delphi, is by the prolific Elite stallion E.H. Hohenstein, who competed at Grand Prix level dressage and is the maternal half-brother of the Elite stallion E.H. Herzensdieb. Hohenstein sired 30 approved sons, including Hanoverian licensing champion His Highness and Grand Prix dressage stallion Munchhausen, and over 100 State Premium mares.
