Named best Anglo-Trakehner at his approvals at Neumünster in 2013 by the Trakehner Verband, one of 9 approved out of 48 stallions presented! He earned 8th place in the YEH Championships and has now had a successful career in showjumping competing through 1.20m and 1.25-1.30 m Mini Prix. His offspring are currently competing in eventing and show jumping. Sire, Favoritas xx, placed and won at numerous prestigious European Grand Prixs, won the Norwegian National Championships twice, and represented this country at Nation’s Cups. Through Rusticus’ sire, the two leading sport horse sires of the East, Raufbold xx and Faktotum xx, appear several times in his pedigree. These lines have been represented at the Olympic and WEG level in several disciplines. Faktotum xx was a member of the highly important Magnat xx stallion line, which in the Trakehner breed produced the performance family of Patricius xx (E.H. Van Deyk, Polarion, Grafenstolz TSF, Kaiserkult TSF, and Kaiserdom TSF) Rusticus’ paternal pedigree resembles that of the currently best Trakehner show jumper producer in the world. With a significant amount of Raufbold xx blood, it is important to note he was a pillar in yet another exceptional stallion’s pedigree – Beg xx, the only TB stallion with an Elite title in the Trakehner breed. Dam Rispe IV also produced international Grand Prix dressage horse Rudy’s Memory TSF.
