Ladino

Ladino’s sire is the multi-talented stallion Stiletto *Pg*E* who had success in Dressage, Show Jumping and Eventing throughout his long career.  Stilleto’s sire is Martini *Pg*E*, who competed at the Grand Prix level in dressage and who led the nation in production of dressage horses for years. His dam’s sire is the great Abdullah *Pg*E*, team Gold and Individual Silver medalist at the Los Angeles Olympics in 1984 in showjumping and 1985 World Show Jumping Champion among many other competition successes at the highest level.  Ladino’s dam is Lucona by the famed E.H. Marduc.  Her dam’s sire is the stallion of the century E.H. Consul.  Thus, Ladino descends from five elite stallions.

Ladino has followed in his sire’s footsteps, competing through the preliminary level of eventing and currently very successfully transitioning to a dressage career.  In 2026, he will make his debut at the Prix St. Georges level under his Adult Amateur rider and has helped his Junior/Young Rider receive her USDF Bronze Medal.

Ladino’s exceptional temperament, incredible talent, and ability to excel in multiple arenas with both Adult Amateur and Junior/Young riders makes him an excellent choice for a multitude of breeding goals.  His offspring all seem to have inherited his wonderful disposition.  He sells himself at competitions, quietly moving around other horses, including mares, with no problems.
