Adlatus was imported in utero in 1976. He was approved by the ATA in November of 1979 in Gaithersburg, MD. He stood at Agate Pass Farm in Washington state from 1980 until 1982. In 1983 he moved to Guenther Knapps Continental Farms in Oregon and remained there until 1988. In 1989, still the property of Guenther Knapp, he was moved back to Washington to stand for Richard Ohnstad, where he remained through 1994. In 1995 he returned to Knapp's Oregon farm and remained there until some time in 1998 when he moved to Klockner Farms. He died of from a spiral break in a his front leg. Comments by Dietrich von Lenski at time of ATA inspection: Stallion with sufficient type, barely sufficient conformation and frame, and a sufficient way of going.
