Inspection comments: High Knight is a large, handsome five-year-old black stallion that stands over much ground with a rectanglar frame of much harmony and balance. He shows good stallion expression and possesses good Trakehner type. He has a very smooth and strong uphill top line and a very good saddle position on a strongly developed frame. His foundation is fairly correct in the forelegs, but his hind legs could have more stability in the hocks. His gaits show athleticism and his walk covers ground with suppleness through the frame. His trot and canter are also fairly good and stride over a good deal of ground. He jumps with ease, has a good bascule and is willing with good leg technique in both the front and hind legs. He displayed good rideability, showing willingness, lightness and tractability. Since he is sired by a Geman Thoroughbred, he brings new blood to the breed that should help mares that desire more size and rideability. High Knight has an excellent temperament. (Brad Kerbs)
