USEF Arabian Dressage Horse of the Year. USDF All-Breed Award. Arabian U.S. National Reserve Champion Dressage (First and Second Levels). High-point winner in open dressage. Multi-champion Sport Horse In-Hand. Three excellent gaits. Great freedom of shoulder, length of stride, and impulsion. Linebreeding to athletic ancestors makes Aul Magic a prepotent sire. His uniform get inherit superior movement, athletic ability, good size, strong hindquarters, good hip and shoulder angles. Intelligence, work ethic, and outstanding temperament. ATA inspector’s comments: Aul Magic is a small but well-proportioned Arabian stallion that, when inspected, was 16 years of age. He is fairly well balanced and harmonious and has a sloping croup, which is desired in sport horses but is somewhat rare in the Arabian breed. His hooves could be better formed; he moves somewhat narrowly, but moves fairly correctly. He is very athletic and elastic, showing very good self-carriage and good use of knees and hocks. He is fluid in the canter and has good suspension. His changes of direction at the canter are especiallyy good. He is a fairly good jumper having never jumped before, and he appears to learn quickly. He has a very good temperament. Aul Magic should be a good choince for larger mares needing refinement, movement and athleticism, but his mares should have well formed hooves. (Brad Kerbs)
