Seigneur was Champion of the 1986 Neumünster inspections then was imported to the United States a short time later in 1987. He stood only the 1987 breeding season at Middleburg Equestrian Center in Virgina before being lost to colic early in 1988. Comments by Dr. Dieter Schön in Trakehner Hefte: Imposing champion in size and significance; remarkably long, well-muscled croup, neck not quite solidified yet; good angulation in the hindquarters, above-average movement in trot and canter; walk looks developable.
