Inspection comments: Kougar von C is a dark colored, attractive, athletic, medium weight stallion with good Trakehner type. He is well balanced, showing harmony of parts and a very good topline with a strong coupling. He has a very good neck set with an excellen saddle position. The legs show correct anguulation, have sgnificant bone substance and also have large, well-formed joints. He does have a slight rotation of the left foreleg that results in a slight paddling.He has well-formed hooves. He has a fluid walk, covering much ground with good use of his back. His trot and canter were fairly good, but these gaits may have been compromomised by an injury 24 hours prior to the inspection. As a result, the colt did not complete the jumping phase and was approved subject to completion of free-jumping. The stallion should improve the offspring of mares that need improvement in the area of a stronger foundation, need more correct neck sets and more elasticity in the gaits. (Brad Kerbs)
