Information

The 2018 Convention will be a casual and down-home, fun reunion for all ATA members at Tryon International Equestrian Center. For those who have been here before, you know what a first-class operation it is! With multiple riding arenas, more than 1,200 permanent stalls, and a variety of restaurants, shops and lodging options all on-site, TIEC is the perfect venue to showcase our Trakehners and have a great time.

This year we’re going back to our roots and including a “Dinner on the Grounds” with horse demonstrations, good old-fashioned food and fun at the barn, with Member Awards, Horse of the Year Awards, and Merit Awards: recognition for owners, breeders and horses!

We are also once again combining our convention with the Young Horse Show Series. Prize money is available for any horses winning through this series in case anyone would like to participate in YHS classes, and a joint jumping Derby with cash and other prizes will be held on Saturday night!
