Morgenglanz *E* was Champion at the 1967 Neumünster approvals. While in Germany he stood at various locations including Hunnesrück and Klosterhof Medingen. June of 1977 he was imported by Edith Kosterka and remained at her Wayne, IL farm until his death in 1987. He spent many years as a field hunter during his life in Illinois. Comments from German Trakehner Stallion Book: Best model of a Trakehner stallion with chief sire qualities. Excellent in type and conformation; expressive head; best riding horse neck, well-shaped body; four excellent legs; due to an accident in pasture as a 2-year-old, his way of going is no longer free and natural; later it turned out that the ligaments of his stifle were damaged. He usually produced large-framed types of good character, with good way of going and pleasant disposition. European Approved Sons: Donaustrom (FRG), Donauglanz, Perlenglanz (FRG), Pregelsstrand *Ps*E*
