Approved in 1994 by the ATA, Aberdeen was bred and owned by Gerhard Schickedanz of Markham, ON. Lars Gehrmann's comments: Son of Aida, half sister to the internationally successful Abdullah, bred with much emphasis on jumping. Significant rectangular frame; somewhat plain in type with a friendly face that reflects his good temperament. The foreleg could be more distinct. Good breadth and depth in his body. His way of going, which covers a lot of ground, could at times close up more. Overall an impressive stallion of the reinforcer type, with emphasis on jumping.
