Approved at the 1965 Neumünster inspections, Händel then stood in Germany at Hof Borstel until 1970. In September of 1970 he was imported to Canada by Gerhard Schickedanz and stood at Galten Farms where he was also a favorite field hunter. In 1974 he was moved to Kentucky to stand at the Roberts' Windfall Farm until his premature death in 1976. Comments from German Trakehner Stallion Book: Great lines with long, well-shaped neck and very good, firm top line. Body somewhat narrow and of insufficient depth; foundation clean and medium strong; the hocks are good, a little weaker on the right; moves straight and with impulsion. Händel has generally passed his large frame to his get, and also his good, perfect conformation. The way of going is almost always very ground-covering but sometimes the desired suppleness is missing as is the powerful thrust from the hindquarters.
