Standing 16.3+ hands, Hennessey *E* was a very majestic presence. He exemplified the elegance of the Trakehner Breed. His head was chiseled and refined with a clean jaw line, then following a crisp/clean throat latch, lay a long arching neck in perfect proportion to a superbly athletic frame. Straight, clean legs with substantial bone completed the masterpiece of this horse. Approved by the ATA in 1990, Dr. Senckenberg's comments: The first approved son of the 1986 Neumünster Champion Seigneur, with very good breed and stallion type, large frame, and the conformation desired for the modern sport horse, while his way of going leaves something to be desired in this respect. Hennessey contributed greatly to creating outstanding Amateur Owner performance horses in all disciplines of the sport horse community. There were numerous notable dressage, jumper, eventing and hunter offspring. Professionals and amateur riders alike enjoyed the superior trainability and pleasing demeanor of his offspring, as well as their overall attractiveness and talent. Hennessey is best known for the mark he made on today's modern Hunter and Hunter breeding horses. His offspring are greatly represented in the International Hunter Futurity and numerous Hunter Divisions throughout the country with the majority of offspring competing in the Amateur Owner divisions.
