History:
Solling was approved at the 1967 Neumünster inspections, he then stood at various locations in Germany until being imported to Canada in April of 1978. He stood in Manitoba through 1980 then moved to Florida and remained at Valhalla Farm until his death in 1984.
Comments from German Trakehner Stallion Book:
Outstanding in type and overall appearance; particularly good are face, neck and shoulder; very good, ground covering, rhythmical movements with the hindquarters stepping far under. His utilization for breeding [in Germany] was too scant to permit an evaluation of his genetic accomplishments.
