Breeder: Lore Neuwald, FRG
History:
Schwarzdorn was approved at Neumünster in 1977 then performance tested at Klosterhof Medingen where he finished 13th out of 30. He remained at stud at Gestüt Alpen until 1985 when he was imported to North America. He stood at Middleburg Equestrian Center until his untimely death in early 1987.
Comments from German Trakehner Stallion Book:Powerful overall appearance with a lot of the best black Trakehner blood, for example from Hutten, Ararad, Bussard and Bento. His good foundation; distinct breed type and good movements are very remarkable for his heavy caliber; the small hooves are only a slight detraction fromthe high overall quality of the stallion.
