Breeder: Guenter Bertelmann, Brechin, ON
History:
San Remo was approved by the ATA in November of 1990 during the West Coast stallion inspections in California. He stood at Yancey Farms in Texas during the 1991 and 1992 breeding seasons before being sold to Leone Equestrians in California. He stood for the Leone's until being gelded sometime after 1995. He proved to be a very successful Adult Amateur Hunter.
Comments by Dr. Senckenberg at time of ATA inspection:Typy, medium sized chestnut with expressive face and large eyes as well as a very well shaped neck; while he leaves a little bit to be desired in his foundation, he shows particularly pleasing paces, with very much reach, elasticity and cadence.
