History:
Lauritz was approved by the ATA at the 1998 California inspections. Following his approval he entered into dressage training with one of his owners, Hilda Gurney. In the spring of 2000 he was gelded after it became apparent that he would have no competitive career as a stallion. He failed to settle any mares with frozen semen and produced no offspring.

Impressive stallion with an exquisite dressage pedigree and good definition of breed and gender type. His top line could be more expressvie. Strong in foundation, also in his joints. Three good, energetic basic paces with the desirable knee action and uphill tendency. Also powerful and ambitious in his jumping. Overall an attractive, sporty young stallion of the modern style.
