Karneval was approved at Neumünster in 1973 then performance tested in 1975. He stood at various locations in Germany from 1974 until August of 1980, when he was imported to North America. He spent his entire North American stud career at Hamilton Farms in South Hamilton, MA before being retired sometime after 1992.
