History:
Azurit was approved in 1976 at Delingsdorf, FRG, after which he was exported to Switzerland where he stood until 1985. In 1985 he was imported by Royal Oaks Farm of California and stood for them as late as 1976. Azurit competed successfully at Grand Prix dressage and in 1988 he was short-listed the the US Olympic Dressage Team under Bernie Tuarig.
Comments from German Trakehner Stallion Book:Very noble and expressive, clean texture; good face, good neck attachment, much shoulder and withers; light foundation with sufficiently strong but clean joints fore and hind; very beautiful, expressive way of going in all gaits.
