TANGO d'OR ("Golden Tango") is a gorgeous Anglo-Trakehner colt with very rare palomino color! He is one of only a handful of palomino horses eligible for registration with the ATA.
Tango is a big, strong, and very correct colt with a medium back and strong topline. His movement is impressive already at this age, particularly his uphill, ground-covering canter.
His sire, GUARANTEED GOLD xx, a young Jockey Club Thoroughbred stallion who, in his first year of eventing competition, finished in the top five in the Ontario Championships at Training Level. He impresses with his pleasant expression, good gaits, superb work ethic, precise jumping style, and an excellent disposition.
The foal's dam is TANZELFE, a daughter of the late Verband-approved FEI dressage stallion Kaspareit. Elfe is a gorgeous, big mare with great movement and an exceptional topline. She was Champion at her ATA inspection. Elfi's first foal and Tango's half-sister, Toujours Felicite, was 2005 USDF HOY in Dressage Sport Horse Breeding, 1st in the ATA All-Breeds USDF DSHB for Yearling fillies, and 17th nationally for USDF SHBD yearling fillies.
Tango is a lovely combination of Trakehner and Thoroughbred, with excellent substance and size (he should mature near 17h) yet leggy and elegant with a beautiful face and large, kind eye.
