Adrien (barn name "Lucky") is drop-dead gorgeous. His breeding is exceptional, with a pedigree containing the best of Trakehner bloodlines generation through generation. Lucky's sire, Hilton GS, is by the renouned 3-Day Event stallion, Bukephalos, and out of the Elite mare, Haiti by Amiego. His dam, Ada GS has already produced one Approved Trakehner stallion (Arapaho GS), as well as several other very nice foals. Though bred to be a top-notch 3-Day event prospect, I envision Lucky in the dressage ring. He was doing pirouettes at under a week old, and even my vet remarked on the way he "really gets underneath himself and uses his hind end!" This colt is a powerhouse, with a solid build but light, uphill movement. While he certainly has the moves to do the upper levels in dressage, he also the power and boldness to do anything. His looks are show-stopping, and the contrast between the rich, black bay coat and 4 high, snow-white stockings is stunning. He may turn grey, but at this time there is no definitive evidence that he will. He has a very nice temperment, and is the favorite of anyone who visits the farm. Lucky is trained to halter, lead and stand for the vet, farrier and deworming. He has wonderful ground manners and has been very trainable in everything we've done. He is a "giver" all the time, and has a quiet, relaxed way about him without being shy. I feel he has everything it takes to be a stallion prospect.
