Description:
Freiherr von Stein is one of the most successful younger Trakehner dressage stallions today. He passed two exceptional stallion performance tests in Germany and won a Bronze medal at the Bundeschampionat as a 3yr old. By age 6, he had won numerous times at M level, by age 7 he placed at S level. From the very first crop, his foals fetched top prices at the Trakehner auctions in Germany. His daughters are often inspected with premium scores and he three of his sons have been approved so far. His youngster offspring under saddle are successful in age-appropriate classes and his approved son Santa Scuro took high honors at his 50 day test in 2021. Freiherr von Stein is a son of the major sire Millennium, and offers true outcross alternatives via his dam Freifahrt, a daughter of Ulla Salzgeber's international Grand Prix dressage stallion Perechelst.The 2nd dam sire Maizauber was a major sport horse sire of his time, with offspring competing internationally in Grand Prix dressage as well as show jumping (!). Freiherr von Stein comes from an East German Trakehner family that also produced the influential stallions Fantast, Fabulist and Fanal.
