The pillars of any association are its producers, in our case our broodmares. It therefore seems only fitting to honor those that have distinguished themselves in this field. The German Performance Stud Book has a division for mares that have produced a certain number of live foals within a given number of years.
The following is a list of those ATA mares who have at least ten registered foals. Some have produced several foals in Germany, but more are a product of our North American breeding efforts. They are our foundation mares who, for the most part, carry on mare lines from the Main Stud Trakehnen or elsewhere in East Prussia, and who have established flourishing families of their own in North America.
